This is a great tool! I use it as I am a teacher and need to share videos in class. Sometimes the internet is not working at the school. I don't have to worry, as I have "Youtube Video Downloader," to help me with downloading videos I need. Very good addon, would recommend and has very good quality downloads with good download speeds. Definitely one of the better video downloaders I've seen in a while. Major respect to the developer for managing to keep up with youtube's updates.

Look at the post from Unheard - you will have to do this for every video again until the button is back, but it works.

As of May 5 2021 the button disappeared. But I found a temporary fix for it. I just looked for the div #eytd_list on inspect element and set it to display: block, then the download options finally appeared on the top left.

User Unheard, you are brilliant to provide a temporary workaround until Dishita has a chance to overcome YouTube alterations.

To those of you who just jump on here and complain about the button disappearing, spend just a few minutes looking before you create noise and you will find brilliant post like the one from Unheard that gives you a solution.

Just for that I'm not even going to tell you what the workaround is. Make the effort and look through the posts. And if you aren't tech-savey enough to use the info to do the work around, tough.... you'll just have to wait.

Update: The "Download" button is back ;)

I've used this add-on for years and have been quite happy with it. Last week the "Download" button disappeared again, but Dishita got it working again quickly.

As written by other reviewers, this happens occasionally as the author has no control over what subtle counter-measures Youtube will try next...

I use an addon for years and have paid for it. The developer fights with YouTube policy to disable any downloaders by changing the code, what sometimes makes the addon not working for a while. But be patient and just wait - so far my experience was good.

Edit 03/04/2024: Dishita always keeps the add-on up to date, so I've been a happy user for about 3 years.

2021年5月6日からダウンロードボタンの表示がされなくなりましたので、解決方法をmemoしておきます。画面上でマウスの右ボタンを押す＞「調査（Q)」を選択＞左下に「HTMLを検索」と書かれたBOXが有るので、そこに「#eytd_list」と入力>真ん中の「スタイルを絞り込み」の「要素」の項目に「display:none;」が表示されるまでENTERを押す＞「display:none;」の「none」の文字にマウスを当てて、「block」に変更すると＞左上に懐かしいリストが表示されます。

※今は問題なく使えますが、今後、同様の事が有った時の為に、このmemoを残しておきます
