It no longer displays preview of your mail. It checks for new emails but the preview window is blank, I can't read emails from within the app. Another thing I noticed is that it really slows down the the web browser, it takes longer to load. Since removing the addon my web browser is much faster.

Unfortunately, not working anymore. Used to be GREAT. Now the content is not showing and the buttons not working.

Edit: the dev is pushing an update. So it's not abandoned. Hope, will be fixed soon.

Sadly, this extension does no longer work.
The extended view shows less than the small one, none of the buttons do act as they are supposed.
You can no longer mark as read or delete, you only can click on the subject to open the email in gmail.
I will keep it for a few weeks to see if it gets fixed, after what, if no change is done, it will be removed.

5 Stars again after the fix and it will work again.

it used to be great, it doesn't work anymore. You can't mark as read and as of january 2024 won't work due to html diappearing.

Really effective add on to make gmail easier to use without opening additional tabs.
I really wish I could mute it though, the audible notifications are an un-welcomed nuisance when streaming for friends, colleagues or just when I'm not at computer but hear a loud notification form my computer anyways. The options to reduce volume does not fix it, unticking the box to 'Play alert sound for new emails' does not fix it and 4 months now no response from support request for help.

J'adore cette extension qui me permet de savoir si j'ai reçu de nouveau e-mail dans ma boite Gmail. Par contre impossible de trouver comment ajouter un 2nd compte, j'avais déjà galéré pour le faire il y a longtemps, là je découvre que mon compte secondaire a disparu mais je n'arrive pas à le remettre... :/

Works great. The best alternative I've found to keeping a pinned gmail tab open (wasting RAM) or constantly opening gmail. You can view a simple text-only version of emails or expand it to view the full contents. All features seem to be working for me.

'Open emails in basic HTML mode' option no longer works. The add-on had been working perfectly for years, but yesterday this option stopped working, and no matter how many times I check and uncheck this option, I'm always sent to the standard Gmail version.

The add-on last updated on October 30, 2022 on my end. I also noticed that Firefox appears to have updated yesterday to version 110.0.1, so it's possible that this is what's causing this issue and this add-on probably needs to update to catch up.
