Years later - just installed, works perfectly. Had spent a long time looking for something similar so thanks very much.

    thanks, I was looking for this to help with screen recordings. It installed easily and worked immediately.
    With my Linux desktop, Gnome, I can't get mouse click highlights to work any other way.
