Useless, Asks to purchase premium everytime, does not work until purchased. Scam, it tells it is free but asks for money in order to use. Use other free VPNs, this is useless.

Signing up is mandatory, and none of the free options are working. I've tried them all. one by one -_-

Seit 3 bis 4 Jahren war ich ein "zahlender" Kunde bei HOXX VPN Proxy. Zuletzt habe ich $50 im Voraus für den uneingeschränkten Zugang bezahlt bis ich ohne Angabe von Gründen dauerhaft gesperrt wurde. Von den 12 Monate habe ich effektiv 9 Monate nutzen können. Der Support stellt sich stur und reagiert auf meine Kundenanfragen nicht.

Da habe ich wohl dem falschen Anbieter vertraut. Gut, das ich nicht vorschnell 5-Sterne Bewertungen schreibe. HOXX wird ohne hin recht schnell als VPN-Service enttarnt. Einem VPN - Service, dessen Firmensitz sich in den USA befindet, darf der Kunde eben nicht vertrauen. Als Beispiel erinnere ich nur an den USA PATRIOT Act. Es gibt keinen Datenschutz in den USA!

Banned my account, gave no reason. Didn't even get to use it and stole my 50$. It immediately banned me and they still charged. me, support told me to stop emailing them and would not refund me. Literally banned me in milliseconds. I would go far enough to say this is a scam service as it used to be good years ago.

I tried a lot of times, ALL THE COUNTRIES, in free version (16 countries) again and again. Always the same result: "Could not connect to any server in....". Ι think that the free version is just a "scum" for to download the add-on and after to constrain you to buy the premium version

I had this turned on before I used a torrent, and then it either a) turned off without warning but before I dl the torrent b) Hoxx shared private dl information with industry where I got a copyright letter/warning from my ISP. Or is Hoxx now owned by an industry copyright protection organization?
If the VPN isn't capable of doing the one thing it is supposed to be doing, it's worthless. There's no warning when it decides to shut off, a major flaw in the design.

Update August 2023:
It isn't free anymore, every free server I try to connect to won't connect and now says "The reason could be that FREE servers are blocked in your network. Please try premium servers." Good bye Hoxx, I'll find a new VPN.

Previous review:
They say it is free if you make an account, but then randomly at times throw some type of traffic limit at you and lock you out of using it unless you buy a premium membership. I am able to use it for weeks at a time and then am suddenly locked out for some reason that isn't fully explained.
