使えなくなってしまった。

I have installed this multiple times over a substantial period of time and the same thing happens. Upon install it works great but after a little time passes it flat out will not download anything on any setting. Oh it will TELL you it is downloading but nothing happens.
EDIT: I reinstalled again and it does nothing now so I think this extension is dead.
Really sad since this was easily the best extension for this.

This was 5 star but I have been waiting for you to fix it because it doesn't work anymore. You had the absolute best. It was lightning fast, no frills, and excellent quality but BAM! just like all the rest it quit working and seems like you guys have no plans on doing anything about it. Thats too bad. This could have been huge. I used it to download educational videos but now I have to resort to unwanted downloaders. This STINKS!
I even tried to contact you but NOTHING works. Time to uninstall.

Unreliable. You are wondering if it's going to work half the time. Waiting for something that doesn't show up isn't the best way to serve the user. Frustration makes for loss of market share. I hadn't used it for days and when I went to download something it tried to tell me I'd 'reached my download limit' which sounded to me like an irresponsibly placed message in order to cover up some other issue stopping the user from accessing the promised service. At least be honest and tell people 'the service is currently offline, sorry'. There are other add-ons that do what this one promises and they do it reliably, so why bother sitting round wasting time, hoping it works?

Does not work, the add on in the top of the page is an exact replica of the page on my browser page and never downloads my request. Worked fine until this new upgrade.

I started using this about 2 weeks ago. 3 conversions and about a dozen+ spurious starts (goes to website, I close tab). Google disabled my account 2 days ago and I got that back, but they also disabled my YouTube account and won't give it back, citing unnamed community guidelines violations. Is/was there malware on simpleyoutubeconverter.com that snagged my YouTube credentials and did something unspeakable with my account? I am very very pissed off.

You've got to be kidding? The easiest YT downdloader? BS. First of all, this add-on is loaded with advertisements that you have to fight through just to get to the download button, secondly, several other YT downloaders are much easier and work better; namely, YouTube Downloader and Youtube video download. Unfortunately there are many Firefox addons that have the same names as those two, so you'll just have to do some trial and error because I'm too lazy to research the authors of those YT addons that actually work well and easy. Good luck.

Unfortunately, extension is now blocked by firefox.

This add on is constantly slowing down Firefox, even when not in use! Please fix this problem.
