I wanted to use it to have Chrome convenient experience with tab groups (Chrome is better in that, but don't support multiple search engines and other cool functions), but I can use it only on desktop where I don't need tab group really much because I already have list of all tabs when browsing current tab, and can't on Android where I really needed it. Also realization of tab pinning and tab containers is not very convenient. And creating new tab button is (only) on bottom side of page which is not convenient too. Also I always forget about tabs tree and start using native top menu, and tab tree doesn't even (only icon like in chrome mobile groups maybe) copy there.
P.S. Also with 100+ tabs Firefox crashes several time a day, but I'm not sure that's just because tab tree

新機能の「タブを端に貼り付け」が非常に面白い。
気づいたらあったので、なんじゃこりゃ？と思って使ってみたら想像以上に斬新な機能で、思わずレビューを書きに来ました。

「タブをピン留め」機能は、必要なタブを常に手が届くところに置いておく点で便利です。
しかし、ピン留めした時点でツリー構造を失わせてしまうため、本アドオンとは実は相性が悪かった。

それが、「タブを端に貼り付け」だとツリー構造そのままに、指定したタブだけスクロールしても画面内に取り残されるようになります。
これにより、「必要なタブ」にアクセスするピン留め機能に対して、「必要なツリー」へとすぐさまアクセスできるようになり、いわばツリーの途中にしおりを挟むような感覚で扱えるようになります。
たとえば、ある記事から派生するタブをぽこぽこ開いておいて、ふと別のことを別ツリーで始めたりする際、根っこのところの記事のタブを「端に貼り付け」しておけば、元の記事の作業に戻ろうとする際に非常にスムーズにそれを見つけられるでしょう。

ツリーのインデントの深さを保ったままピン留めされるデザインも実に上手く考えられています。
意識せずとも「しおりの階層化」のような整理がなされるため、後から読み解いて探す際に非常に便利です。

大量のタブを開きっぱなしで扱う人間にとって、これは革新的な概念と言わざるを得ません。
それこそタブにツリー機能を持ち込んだ際の発想・発明に匹敵します。いや、脱帽しました。

ユーザーはぜひこの機能を使ってみるべきでしょう。

I am a coder who is working on a big web project, to organize all my tabs, this extension plays a very big role. I recommend this extension to everyone.

I think this is a great learning experience

I've been using this for so long. Since I heard it announced on Security Now podcast probably over 10 years ago. I can't imagine a world without it. I can't use any other browsers since they don't have it.

I tried the latest version because it looks like a useful extension. I discovered that it would completely reverse the order of the tabs I open with Morning Coffee Quantum, even if I disable all Tree Style Tab's control settings over new tab placement. Eventually I removed the current version and installed v3.9.22 as was suggested by some reviews on this site. It now works correctly, so I will stay with this older version.

Hands down the best browser extension I've ever seen, and the constant development & helping resolve issues is outstanding.

This extension has been great for a very long time. Easy 5 stars.

The latest update has made it borderline unusable though.
How do I create a new tree? It seems to be completely random, sometimes they just pop up. But dragging one tab onto another seems to be impossible.

In past times I even removed the builtin tab bar. Right now I am seriously considering to remove the addon until the situation is fixed.


EDIT: I have briefly seen, how it's supposed to work. That is all fine.
But there seem to be major bugs right now. Most of the time, like described above, it's not possible to drop a tab onto another tab to create a tree. Also there are super weird interactions between page content and tree pane.
I have disabled the extension for now. Hope to see it back in former glory soon.
