Does not block suggested posts as promised. I have the add-on installed and activated, and I am still getting suggested posts in Instagram on desktop web in the newest version of Firefox. I DO NOT WANT TO BE SHOWN ANY SUGGESTED POSTS AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi! I checked today and it seems to still be working for me, both on PC and mobile. This add-on blocks the posts after you scroll for some time and reach "You're all caught up". Before that, it's only posts about people you follow, and after "You're all caught up" you'll only see suggested posts by IG algorithm. That second section is the one this add-on is blocking, you should be unable to continue scrolling past "You're all caught up".
Was your expectation that this would block all posts under the stories section? Let me know, I'd be happy to make a different add-on for that scenario :)

    All Suggested should be blocked as per the description 🤞 I'm seeing a ton of suggested, sadly in between people I actually subscribe to.

    Mm, are these the suggested posts that you can snooze for 30 days? This extensions blocks suggested posts after reaching the "You're all caught up".
    The way to get rid of all of them is to snooze for 30 days posts in between your subscriptions and then the extension will block the scrolling once you've catched up with all posts from people you follow.

    PS: I'll try to see if I can update the extension to block those posts as well.

    This is a must have extension for Instagram on mobile and is so underated.

    Thank you so much, I do think this is life changer as well. I deleted the Instagram app and rely on this completely to only see what I follow and avoid any content from the algorithm.

    Doesn't work on mobile or desktop view. Tested from a Google Pixel 9

    Edit: Update fixed it :). I found 'SocialFocus' which is doing a bunch more cool features and blocks the bad stuff on other social media sites too with all customizable settings, but if you just want recommended posts gone on Instagram and nothing else then this will do the trick. Thanks for responding to my review.

    Instagram updated their site and I released a new version last night. Are you using the version 1.1?

    Edit: Thanks for recommending, I'll definitely check SocialFocus out! I created this extension specifically for Instagram recommended posts, but if SocialFocus does that and other things I'll give it a try
