av rf, för 7 år sedanIt's a wonderful idea. And it works great in many situations. But I'm finding more and more that I need to turn it off to engage with sites I care about. The problem is it gives itself away.
Instead of ignoring links to ads they need to be downloaded as usual. And then simply not shown. How hard would that be? Stealth!
Too many sites seeing an ad-blocker in place and refusing to let you continue until you turn it off.

I must say this ad blocker is no longer useful on Firefox for Youtube. Uninstalling and reinstalling does nothing, there are no updates to run. It was a 5 star add-on but now I give 2 due to working well in the past. If it's updated to block youtube then I will update rating but as it stands useless if you use mainly youtube. Also it cannot block Twitch adds either. Dropping back to 1 star.
