This version adds a warning which is displayed when the add-on is missing the required private window permission.

This version adds localization / internationalization for EN (English), DE (German), and PT_BR (Brazilian Portuguese).
Now, the add-on does not require access to all URLs anymore, but just requests to access https:// and http://.

Further, there are some improvements under the hood.

This version removes the option to remove tracking elements from URLs. There are dedicated browser options and dedicated add-ons available for this.

Further, issues with capitalization of domains got fixed and improvements in UI got implemented.

Version 2.0 of Always Open Privately has several improvements over the old releases:
* better UI for configuring the add-on
* better handling of already existing private windows (the add-on does not create a new private window if another private window is already opened).
* more features: always strip tracking parameters from URLs (if you want to).

Some rework of the code:

* Settings are now cached during runtime (reducing I/O oprations). Settings are only reread from storage if settings were changed.
* URLs are now parsed using the URL parser of the "a" DOM element.
* The check whether a domain is in the always-open-privately list is now more efficient.
