The extension only works when users visit Apple Podcasts pages, and all operations are completed locally in the browser. The extension uses storage permission solely to save user language preferences and display settings, which are stored only on the user's local device and never uploaded to any server. When users click the download button, the extension passes the podcast URL as a parameter to the CastLoom website, but does not collect or record any other user information.
