You can go down to as little as a 5-second interval running monitors on local device. Setup is easy point and click. Lots of ways to get notified - , popup, sound, email, SMS, push (last 2 require subscription but not expensive)

Completely efficient, not cpu/ram eating, super quick and allows to be notified in many different ways! There's no doubt, this is the best extension about this topic, and of course one of the most useful on the whole firefox market!
