av Firefox-användare 16885901, för 4 år sedanThe Video Downloader is so helpful for me and I really appreciate the constant attention to update which keeps it working. When this downloader appears to be broken it is because Youtube has made changes which have created problems. I am on satellite for internet and this is about the only way I can enjoy my favorite Youtube videos. My service is very limited so no streaming or watching videos live or I burn up my allotted download time. We are offered a free zone from 3 AM to 8 AM. When I get up in the morning I download all the videos I want to watch later, while I can use the free zone. Downloading is much faster than viewing live so using the downloader allows me to download multiple favorites. Without this ability I would probably not view Youtube very often.

Seems like all other higher MP4 formats have been removed which is a shame as I prefer downloading MP4 files with a higher bitrate without needing to be online or having an online presence for YouTube. Still my favourite video downloader extension though. Hope other formats will make a return shortly.

- Betygsatt 1 av 5av fst100, för 11 dagar sedanthis add-on use to work a couple years ago but YT kept up and surpassed not letting programs download from their site. i would give this add-on 5 stars back then but since they cannot keep up with YT and still have this exist just for the clicks, i believe a one-star is deserving.
