Sure, downloading videos is a game of cat and mouse, so it might not work every time, but most of the time it really works—and the author has been maintaining this extension for years on end in their own free time.

First thing I've noticed is this addon was very buggy on Firefox. I don't know if it's just my computer, my particular Firefox browser, or what. I tried to download and upon trying to click the link it fails to actually download. It's very buggy and I have not been able to get it to work. If this is indeed maintained by one developer then I must say he needs to really improve the reliability of this addon. Very disappointed in this, especially since I know this addon worked better in the past.
