    Been using a while, works well for what i use it for.
    This is the only one so far, that reliably gets updated if it goes down. If it goes down they have it up and running again pretty quick.

    Thank you for being so on top of the updates! The add-on is excellent quality and although I don't use it regularly, it has always functioned properly when I needed it.

    Thank you again for the amazing work! YouTube is constantly changing so I imagine it's pretty challenging keeping up with it all the time.

    So glad I came across this! It couldn't be easier to use, and it works! I can't use enough exclams over this! The dev updates the code frequently in response to the YT service's whack-a-mole suppression campaign. If you don't get the results you expect, drop them a line and let them know. Things get fixed fast.

    Developer keeps pumping out updates whenever YouTube tries to break this add-on. Good work! If this add-on doesn't work, install the latest version, clear the cache and restart Firefox!

    Youtube Video Downloader is an outstanding extension for 2 reasons:
    (1) it provides an important functionality and it does it very well. Providing actual video files from YT is not a trivial convenience, it helps me do my work (I am a researcher and physician)
    (2) the extension is very difficult to maintain, because of the incessant changes on the YT platform. That is why I strongly recommend everyone financially support this extension who can afford to do so.
