Fortunately, I didn’t have to install and try a huge number to find one that was a perfect fit for me: Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express. After my first year or so of use, I chose the PRO UPGRADE to get 1080p Full-HD and 256Kbps MP3 download capability.

I used to use it years ago before it cost money, and I loved it back then too. So I decided to spend a few bucks and get it again. Definitely worth it. Easy to use, download quality is great. Glad I got it.
