If Google/Youtube woulnd change setting for the Dev to have to fix it, then a lot of bandwith time and brain-essence on all sides would be used for more essential human-needed programs.

I contacted the developer about it, who responded very quickly to say that the add-on was in the process of being updated. Within a day, it was working and I tested it out by downloading both a video as well as just an mp3. Both options worked great!

It is impossible to predict issues that pop up. After many years developing downloading apps, this is the latest and maybe the best so far.
With that said, this Pro Version is definitely worth buying. Time to download is quick. There are many options to customize your results.
