The function is complete, it is smooth, I like this UI very much. - Betygsatt 5 av 5av Firefox-användare 14321422, för 7 år sedan
- Betygsatt 4 av 5av Klaas Vaak, för 7 år sedanA good RSS reader. Nevertheless, I am confused about 1 aspect. When I want to mark all articles in a feed as read I use Shift+A while the feed in the left hand pane is selected. The number (whatever that means) on that feed disappears, but the articles remain shown as unread.
You can also double-click on the feed in the left hand pane. But if I do that, often there is still a number that remains shown for that feed, even though all articles in that feed are shown as "read".
I do not understand what the real difference between these 2 methods, - Betygsatt 4 av 5av Firefox-användare 14280828, för 7 år sedanNice browser based RSS reader. There are a few features that I miss from my standalone readers (Thunderbird, QuiteRSS, RSSOwl).
- Like to navigate the RSS article items using the keyboard arrow keys.
- I would like the reading pane (view mode) to give an option to have the reading pane on the bottom and not just the right.
- In the magazine view mode, it would be nice to have the option to load and then navigate content in the pane rather than in a separate tab. The only options I see are either a summary or just the initial page.
Otherwise, good and functional add-on.Utvecklarens svar

1. You can see all keyboard shortcuts when you press the "?" icon in the toolbar. Navigation with up and down arrow between articles is not intentionally possible because it would screw up scrolling the article in view.
2. "Reading pane at the bottom" won't be implemented since it leaves very little space for the actual article. I know many users are accustomed to this type of view but you'll find that viewmode 3 is superior to that especially with modern widescreen displays.
3. In viewmodes 2, 4 and 5 you can click elsewhere in the article text/image to expand it within Feedbro (so don't click the article title, click e.g. the summary text in magazine mode). - Betygsatt 4 av 5av Firefox-användare 12955352, för 7 år sedanWorks pretty good, but I'm still missing one big feature: no auto feed update option
Feeds are a great way to keep up to date about a diverse range of topics and the better the reader the more feeds you subscribe to.
Problem with having a feed reader in your web browser is that all of them will constantly broadcast the feeds you've subscribe to, anywhere you take your device to.
This is also true for feedbro, even with the autoscan interval set to the max (why is there no simple off option?).
Not only does it unnecessarily slow down the browser, it is also bad opsec.
Please add a truly and strictly "manual update" option.
Also, opening some menu or hovering a feed should preferably not lead to unnecessary dns requests (maybe when DoH finds widespread adoption this would be less of a concern). I think preventing this from within feedbro is not feasible or too much of a hassle. Disabling network.dns.disablePrefetch Firefox-wide it is then.Utvecklarens svar
postad för 6 år sedanAutomatic feed updates can be now disabled in Options. See "Disable automatic feed scanning" checkbox. - Betygsatt 4 av 5av Firefox-användare 13551712, för 7 år sedan

- Betygsatt 5 av 5av Firefox-användare 14253916, för 7 år sedanIt will auto scan the current browser website for available rss feeds, truly simple! The power of this add-on is to combine it with Google Alerts that search the entire web on key word per topic and allow you to rss feed that return into Feedbro. Folders allow you to organize feeds into topics and freely drag them into desired order. The controls on feed age, number of entries, and the ability to store your set feeds in one backup file that can be updated and reloaded in the event of loss reset is very useful.

- Betygsatt 4 av 5av Firefox-användare 13452466, för 7 år sedanGreat RSS reader. The only think I really miss is feed synchronization (via FF sync, or something like this).
- Betygsatt 5 av 5av Lil'E, för 7 år sedanI love it.
I would like to be able to use a sound for notification from my computer though. The available ones are too subtle in my opinion. - Betygsatt 5 av 5av Clover2k, för 7 år sedanAn excellent extension that I use especially for the rules.
The only thing that is still missing is a report or similar that tells me when it was the last time the condition of a rule was triggered, to understand when the condition is old and be able to do cleaning.
For the rest, for me it's perfect, great job. - Betygsatt 1 av 5av Firefox-användare 12740845, för 7 år sedan
- Betygsatt 5 av 5av Ahmet Yaztürk, för 7 år sedanUseful, but my subscribtions and preferences are cleared about once a week. I need to check them every day.
Edit: No, I use Ubuntu and rarely clear cookies and cache. My subscription is a special feed, maybe there are login problems causing this. But, general preferences are also cleared when the subscription is cleared. - Betygsatt 3 av 5av Cool Franz, för 7 år sedanIt looks nice (although definitely leaves room for improvement).
Unfortunately it doesn't sync among different instances. I think this is a major drawback.
Hopefully it will get implemented soon - Betygsatt 5 av 5av Padua, för 7 år sedanVery functional RSS reader extension.
Better than stand alone RSS readers and better than most chrome RSS reader extensions.
Proper 3 pane layout, with folder structure (many thanks to the dev for personal effort to smooth out opml import issues)
Recommended.
