Used to be perfect, but now, it will only remove the initially loaded videos from any particular playlist, which is 100. If you have say 2000 videos in there, you now have to do it 20 times with refreshes in between, etc. The extension will act like it's removing videos if you load more than the initial 100 (either manually or using the plugin) but the videos will not be deleted. It's not user friendly to just let users discover disfunction on their own, as it wastes time and is very frustrating. It does still seem to copy videos to a new playlist when loading the whole playlist.

When I suddenly think there should be an add-on for batch selection playlist this add-on popped up from reddit. Thanks buddy. The feature of showing playlist name in the left navigation menu doesn't refresh or shows up. Temp fix is to disable and enable the option in the add-on. Please look into the issue. Also it will be good if there is a option for filtering unavailable videos in playlist.

An overall good workflow tool. But, it would be nice to have a "Hide" menu option for "Subscriptions", much like the "Remove from this list" for "Playlists".

It Works!

Installed the extention, it worked for a first 3 times then extention's blue button near a notification bell disappeared to never be seen again when I was in the middle of rearranging my playlists. So its useless right now. Thankfully I've got backup of my playlists but the damage has been done.

Edit: now the button appeared, but I can't import videos from an exported backup list I've done in the previous version, no matter whether its JSON or TXT format. Pasting copied videos from extention memory does not seem to work either. On all my efforts it responds with only "precondition check failed" error message.

UPD: It appears that Precondition check fail error was due to playlist having removed/private videos, so selecting these videos for copying or moving into another playlist results in failure. Other than that extention works fine.

Well seems like it got fixed by YT 2-3 hours after writing the below. fixed as of UTC 20:39 2024/9/28

~~importing videos stopped working. This could get resolved by Youtube on its own in the 40th week (I'm writing this in week 39, 1 day before week 40) because this addon hasn't been updated since Dec 2023 and this happened already once, so it might resolve on its own.

In the meantime, for Chromium only, to import, resort to 'Playlist Importer For YouTube'. This gives you 10 video per import. (It opens the videos and adds them to playlist).
If Youtube is so smart as to break that function, have fun with your servers getting saturated for no f' reason.

for now it's 1 star for the meta. I will change it.~~

I was loving this extension, having just recently found it... I'd started cleaning up my playlists and suddenly - you guessed it... Youtube made some change that has now rendered it useless. How do I know it was Youtube? Because I even tried downgrading the Firefox browser to what was out in June when I first found it, and that didn't work. Hopefully the creator updates the extension... If so, I'll happily donate some real cash for the effort!

The most useful feature is not implemented:
- "select multiple videos & move them to position n"

Only available is:
- move to top
- move to bottom

Well then i can also just use the youtube UI which is similar unhelpful

Доброго дня! В первую очередь, хотелось бы выразить огромную благодарность за данное расширение. Оно добавляет крайне необходимый функционал в ютюб. Ставлю 4 звезды, только потому что, расширение не работает вместе с другим популярным дополнением "PocketTube: Youtube Subscription Manager".
