Doesnt work. It opens some colorful website of Oxford "languages. oup com" not "oxfordlearnersdictionaries com". Consider promoting it as I had a hard time finding this addon for dictionary. Promote it. Add more dictionaries like dictionary com, dictionary. cambridge org, merriam-webster.com, thefreedictionary com/. Put this as option in omnibox and context menu and shift to up in the right click menu. Change the icon for better visibility. Thanks.

Does not open the Oxford English Dictionary. Misleading extension name and description.

I wish the developer also included the next screenshot, which basically opens the website of the "oxford languages" then you have type the word you are looking for after you figure out which dictionary you actually need.

good because lexico.com (backend) has both english and spanish so very useful.

As previous reviewer stated. This links to the Oxford Living Dictionary; a drastically simpler reference with a completely different editorial policy. Change the name or allow users to choose which dictionary to search.

(3 stars as I had to choose something; it's fine for many purposes). Name is a bit misleading; I want to access the "Oxford English Dictionary", with login details; the extension, though called "Oxford English Dictionary" actually goes to "Oxford Living Dictionaries", which isn't what I need. It works fine as described for the OLivD.

I like the thoroughness of this add on. I use the hardbound Oxford English Dictionary all the time, but this is a quick solution for looking up words.

open new tab every time.

Been looking for an add-on to give me a pop-up with definitions from Oxford Dictionaries, this is the closest I've found so far. It's not a pop-up, but it's easy enough. If you want the definition in a new tab on the official website rather than a pop-up, this is for you.

Edit: I just tried the add-on "Pop-Up Dictionary" which seemed promising, but it doesn't work well with oxforddictionaries.com, so I'll be sticking with this.

Edit #2: A problem with this add-on is that it doesn't return to the previous tab you were on after closing the Oxford Dictionaries tab, it goes to the last tab in the window. Dev, hopefully you can fix this.

A pop-up window would be better though
