Grouping stuff is super comfortable. And the search with unlimited results is great. - Betygsatt 4 av 5av Andreas, för 3 år sedanHi, love this extension. but im currently experiencing alot of ram usage to the point where firefox is useless... i have a AMD Ryzen 9 5900X and 16gb 3000MHz ram.

postad för 3 år sedanHi, if you suspect Tab Stash is causing high RAM usage, please feel free to open an issue on GitHub and I'd be happy to help you troubleshoot.
Note that by default, Tab Stash will unload older stashed tabs to prevent memory use from growing too high, and the defaults are calibrated even for lower-spec computers with less memory than yours. So absent a bug, you should not have to worry about memory usage with Tab Stash. - Betygsatt 2 av 5av Mike&Anita, för 3 år sedanFirefox slowed down too much to use it after I installed Tab Stash, I did not meticulously troubleshoot the issue, instead I Reset Firefox and today I researched re-installing Tab Stash but after reading reviews with similar reports of Firefox slowing down I decided not to try it again.
I am using an i7-6700K 4 core CPU running windows 10, which is still a decent powered computer so I really do not know if Tab Stash slowed my computer or just Firefox. I gave Tab Stash two stars for a great list of features, maybe I will try it again in a few months.Utvecklarens svar
postad för 3 år sedanHi, there are two known issues in Tab Stash which can cause high CPU usage (see my replies to the other reviews below). However, resetting Firefox should address both issues. So, since you have reset Firefox, I would hope and expect you won't see high CPU from Tab Stash again.
However, if you do notice high CPU usage even after resetting Firefox, please feel free to open an issue on GitHub and I'd be happy to troubleshoot with you further. - Betygsatt 5 av 5av Commandr_, för 3 år sedanreally useful and fantastic extension, as a bonus: had issues and the dev immediately pointed me to a solution.

postad för 3 år sedanHello, at the moment, there are two known issues (one in Tab Stash and one in Firefox) that can lead to high CPU usage and which I'm looking into for the next Tab Stash release. Fortunately, there are workarounds for both.
First, if you upgraded to Tab Stash 2.10 from an earlier release and you notice high CPU usage after the upgrade, please try uninstalling/reinstalling Tab Stash (simply disabling it isn't sufficient). Pre-2.10 versions had a bug which left some stale deleted-items entries around, and when you first upgrade to 2.10, those entries will be cleared all at once, resulting in the high CPU. Uninstalling/reinstalling Tab Stash is another, faster way to clear out the old entries.
Second, there is a bug in Firefox's saved session handling which can cause Tab Stash to have high CPU usage. Tab Stash tries to work around this bug, but the workaround is what causes the high CPU. The bug seems to have gotten worse in recent Firefox releases and so I'm looking at ways to improve the workaround. In the meantime, however, clearing out any invalid saved-session data usually resolves the problem; you can find instructions here:
https://github.com/josh-berry/tab-stash/wiki/Restart-Firefox-Without-Saved-Session-Data
If neither of these things helps, please feel free to open an issue on GitHub and I'd be happy to troubleshoot further with you there. - Betygsatt 1 av 5av Firefox-användare 13813702, för 3 år sedanThis increases the power consumption of Firefox on my Macbook Air M1 hugely. The energy impact went from around 1 to 5 to around 40. It was a total battery killer. By one-by-one disabling my extensions I found it was Tab Stash.

I have ADHD and often have information overload, this tool has helped me a lot in staying organized.
PS.
If you can integrate feature to manage tags in lists/groups or items, the utility will be even better.
Thank you so much. - Betygsatt 5 av 5av Ozymandias, för 3 år sedanWhat a relief this extension exists. I love you guys for this. No more cluttered desktop with a bunch of windows open, just freedom!

thanks. - Betygsatt 5 av 5av Firefox-användare 15166984, för 3 år sedanI haven't seen this mentioned before but I'm actually using this for all of my bookmarks. It just makes organising them so much easier. 18 Groups and 901 tabs... wonder if there's a limit? Seems to be working well so far.

postad för 3 år sedanHi, thanks for your review! There's no limit as such, and I've heard of users with thousands of tabs saved with no issues. So you should be good for a while. :)
If you do run into issues, though, feel free to open a GitHub issue and I'll be happy to take a look! - Betygsatt 2 av 5av Chi, för 3 år sedanWhenever I turn on this add on, firefox starts to take 60%-70% CPU usage. Had to remove it though the user experience is good. Hope the developer can help solve this issue.

postad för 3 år sedanHi, there are a few possible reasons for this, some of which are caused by Firefox itself--you can check this bug report on GitHub to see if any of the situations apply to you: https://github.com/josh-berry/tab-stash/issues/175
And if the suggestions there don't help, please feel free to open another bug report on GitHub and I'll be happy to take a look. - Betygsatt 5 av 5av Firefox-användare 13654436, för 3 år sedan

- Betygsatt 5 av 5av fv, för 3 år sedanVery useful if you use to browse with many many tabs open. Like one does :)
Container support (storing and restoring to the same container) would make this extension perfect! - Betygsatt 5 av 5av The_Blinded, för 3 år sedan
