It uses the browser's native engine to play selected text using text-to-speech technology without sending any data or making requests to external services.

- Read selected text from a web page.
- Buttons to pause, resume and stop speech.
- Speech volume and speed selection.
- Automatic highlight current word to read and follow the text while hearing the voice.
- Move text cursor and press Play to start reading at any position of the text.

Permissions:
activeTab - to excecute the script to copy the selected text to the textarea of the reader.
storage - to save the last selected voice, rate and volume so you don't have to select it every time you want to read something.
