Took the CPU usage on youtube from 8-12% to 2-5% on a 5 year-old gaming PC. It really does wonders.

Works really well and as intended ! It made Youtube videos way smoother

totally fixed stuttering on youtube. even with a gaming PC VP8/VP9 causes issues

Всем советую данное расширение, если у вас в видео на ютубе тормозит картинка, но при этом звук идёт нормально (у меня была именно такая проблема - с недавнего времени начала тормозить картинка на стримах, но звук шёл нормально). Перепробовал всё что только можно, и только это расширение помогло мне исправить проблему.

There's a serious problem with this specific addon. If you open any youtube channel (just any channel home page, like techquickie for example), the page will just be blank.

Video and everything else loads fine with only 1080p options and stats for nerds shows avc1 is loaded, which is good.

After installing this addon, 60fps no longer works. Even when I uninstall it again, or reinstall Firefox. I don't know what it did, the switch to H264 worked fine, but even rolling back everything the videos are locked to 30fps with no way to fix this.
