The latest update has slowed response time, complicated the interface, and drastically reduced the number of logins that successfully autofill. The dropdown now takes up more screen space for no clear reason. The structure for use has been needlessly altered. After being trained by years of use to click on an entry to fill the login fields, that same action now opens the edit screen. It was a great product that did not need "improving". I will continue to use it, but it is no longer the fast, intuitive tool that it was. After more days of fighting with it, I am downgrading my rating. I am sick of "improvements" that drastically reduce product usability.
Response to the developer response since I cannot email:
Like most of the other commenters I have seen in blogs and other discussions, I have tried that. It does NOT address most of the glaring deficiencies of your "upgrade".
You had a quick, effective product. You have changed the basic user structure, a slap in the face of long-time users, and the new format is MORE difficult to use:
- small fill button in LARGE edit field (how often do you think a user needs to EDIT, rather than FILL a login screen?)
- the changed format above exactly opposite of the muscle memory trained by years as a user of your product
- loading ALL vault items instead of matching only (slower load and why do you think us users used folders and search???)
- larger screen footprint (your app is NOT my primary focus on the screen - it is a TOOL to support what is displayed on the rest of the screen)
It's simple. Respect your users or lose them.
I have moved back to an older version of Bitwarden which I will use until/unless I find another password manager. If you force me to upgrade, I will leave immediately.

Mare sure you are on version 2024.12.4 or above, then check under Bitwarden Settings > Autofill > "Click items to autofill on Vault view" and Bitwarden Settings > Appearance > "Show quick copy actions on Vault" if you want to restore previous functionality that you may prefer.

The longer the extension is opened the more memory it takes. Browser without this extension switched on takes 600MB memory and after switching it on takes 2600MB. This should be investigated. Users are complaining about that sinco at least 2022.

Also, I notice spikes in CPU usage from this extension, that are power hungry and impacts my battery life a lot in desktop. - Rated 5 out of 5by adamhybel, 7 రోజులు క్రితంBitwarden isn't just a password manager; it's your essential key to secure and effortless online logins via its browser extension.

If you have a single entry that has two different URL's like parts.ford.com and ford.com, it counts that as two passwords, however it is only one. And if from that report you try to delete one, it deletes them both. This kind of BS goes on throughout the app. It seems to be developed by folks who don't think deeply.
Another example? No 2 sites on the internet agree on what makes a password. Some only only all 10 characters, some 20, some restrict what special characters can be used, others dont. Instead of letting you quickly adjust when adding a site or changing a password you have to go change the default settings for the password generator, and then remember to set them back to something secure. Just asinine. - Rated 5 out of 5by ptr, 10 రోజులు క్రితంAmazing app, and with a selfhosted service like vaultwarden you can manage your own passwords. I have used dashlane and 1password (both are great), but being opensource makes bitwarden the better choice in my honest opinion.

Latest version, ctrl+y to (in firefox) doesn't give focus to the search vault. It may sound trivial, but when I use this password manager in very delicate environments, using the mouse to search is a pain in th a$$
