tested on AOSC OS and works fine. - Rated 1 out of 5by Jacques shellac, 8 సంవత్సరాలు క్రితంThe backend requirements (copr dnf repo and ineptly named chrome-gnome-shell) could be made more clear on extensions.gnome.org. Works fine once you waste 20 minutes trying to figure out all of the manual dependencies. Grumble grumble.

You do not have native connector installed.
Please read documentation [1]

Edit:
This link for ALL supported browsers - Firefox, Chrome, Vivaldi and Opera - Rated 5 out of 5by Francisco de la Peña, 8 సంవత్సరాలు క్రితంAs said by mostly everybody, this addon requires a backend service, it does not work out of the box by just adding it to Firefox, and this is by design, so, for everyone which did not it yet, repeat with me:
Read the addon instructions!

Tested on Fedora 25 and works great. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox వాడుకరి 11032464, 8 సంవత్సరాలు క్రితంError: Attempt to postMessage on disconnected port
Solution: Read the addon's description.
> You MUST install native connector for this extension to work
The package is called 'chrome-gnome-shell' but is needed for Firefox too. It seems to be a dependency for the addon to communicate with the gnome-shell. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox వాడుకరి 12893649, 8 సంవత్సరాలు క్రితంunfortunately extension isn't working suddenly. Did you installed native connector? Look to documentation [1] for more info.
If it will not work for you, then create new issue here [2] or here [3].

Did you installed native host messaging connector? You need to manually install manifest file. Take a look here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=754316
