When a user mouseover a link (URL) in a webpage and clicks the IP2Location icon, the hostname part of the link is sent to an external API to retrieve geolocation data.

No user data is sent to the API.

A custom fixed header containing the addon's URL is also sent to the API just to let the API know that the request came from the addon and to let the request through.
