The extension works fine - except for one major problem. If you enter a URL in the address bar, it opens in another tab, and there is no way to turn that off. That means it isn't possible to just enter a URL and have it open in the current tab. I have no idea why it's set up like that, but it makes it close to worthless.

Simple and exactly what I needed - was using "New Tab from Location Bar" but that add-on didn't put the focus to the new tab.

This one does everything I need!

Работи идеално. Когато търся нещо през лената за линкове се отваря в нов таб. Същото става и през полето за търсене отдясно на лентата URL лентата.

Only 1 star. 1 star because it looks like it should work. Unfortunately, it doesn't actually work, so it loses 4 stars :)
I should mention that I use the search field next to the URL field for searches, but even if I use Google's own field, it still doesn't work. I have Firefox version 59 0 2
