I used to use the OG Adblock with the stop sign logo on Google Chrome, but over time it's ability to block ads decreased. I found AdGuard and have been using it for several years now with no problem. I have it on all my mobile and desktop devices and recommend it to my peers. It blocks ads for Youtube, pop ups and other streaming websites, however not Hulu or other mainstream ones. I wish it did.

Does not integrate (or recognise) that I already have it installed on MacOS and in Safari, so thinks it is a standalone FireFox extension. Consequently, much duplication of settings. Seems to ignore / not see MacOS Adguard settings. And with all that, it fails to actually block ads — well, I can hear them, I just can't see them, and I am forced to watch a blank screen for the duration of the hidden-but-audible adverts! So, all in all... Non-functional at best and lazily unintuitive and frustrating at worst. My view: Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!
