Excellent addon with many different ways to easily save images. My favourite method to use is the drag and drop option, where you just left click an image and drag it a little and it will save it, or drag it completely off the browser and onto my second monitor. There in lies the problem and why I didn't give it five stars. When I drag an image into a folder, if the filename is too long (wallhere.com is bad for that), than the image file name will be truncated (shortened) and when it is saved, it doesn't have an extension, so no image thumbnail is shown and I have to manually rename it with one. Otherwise it's great! When I select to save the image without dragging and dropping, then an extension is added. It would be nice to see the drag and drop option save with an extension after truncating long filenames.

I believe that when you drag the image into your folder, the image is actually consumed by your browser/OS instead of the extension. Try testing the truncate bug without enabling the extension.

    Works fine for me. People complained because they were non developer and they were hoping for 'magic', which clearly won't happen, seeing browsers have cracked down on add-ons security these days. Also a lot of image gallery websites don't like / don't want us to batch download these days. So.. "batch download all images from all tabs to the right" is the only sensible solution right now. And the good news is, it is unpreventable by website owners. Not in any way I can think of. We should simply middle-mouse-click on all thumbnails we wanted, press this add-on button, adjust the minimum size we wanted, and press Save! Keep up the good work, eight04!

    As previously reported, the bug has not been fixed. Even in version 0.23, images within tabs (images that enlarge when clicked) cannot be retrieved. This was possible in version 0.19. It is highly questionable that the author has confirmed the behavior between versions 0.19 and 0.22/0.23.

    It's hard to track bug in comment section. It will be nice to submit more details to the issue tracker: https://github.com/eight04/image-picka/issues , including the site, browser version, operating system, etc.

    Only works for images which can already be downloaded using the context menu without any add-on, thus mainly useless.

    The extension uses a new setting in 0.22, but it is buggy in old Firefox.

    The bug prevents the extension from install on Firefox < 128:

    Currently the bug is fixed at Firefox ESR 115.31 (which should be released around Dec 9), but I think 116~127 will still face the bug.

    It definitely works on Android, however it is very annoying to use as it only downloads it on .tar format even if you only want one, there is no way other than do the "batch" method which makes it annoying if you want to download from several tabs as you cannot mark them to download from those and have do it individually. Making it almost worthless depending on how you want to use it

    That's true. The tab chooser on Android doesn't work with extensions. We either have to implement our own tab chooser or perhaps pick all images from all available tabs by default.

    funktioniert leider nicht mehr seit einer weile, wenn ich auf den button klicke neben dem bild wird es nicht mehr gespeichert, war früher wirklich top, da hat alles bestens geklappt

    I have used Image Picka on many Linux Distros, and have installed it for others on Apple OSX and even non-linux systems! ;-)
    No complaints so far and a lot of praise from this 70yo user. i.e. EASY to install. Thank-you Image-Picka.
