That's for the search redirection. It can't be done dynamically in the code (by so being optional). It should be written in the manifest file (by so it will be there on all installations).

First thing I notice - a medium article opened correctly in scribe, but was cut off (probably medium forcing you to subscribe). And there is no browser history so I can go to the original link.

You must press the "+" button to add the instance to your custom list. The ping operation is just for testing, and it doesn't add or remove instances. Press the "+" button or type a custom instance in the input field.

Great add-on for Youtube, although I would like to see a button to quickly switch to another Invidious instance in the future, in case an instance stops working (which unfortunately happens rather often)

Absolutely astoundingly good. I have been using it to learn about privacy-friendly frontends that I never knew about. For example, my Twitch has never been so pleasant. And with the dropdown, I can easily switch one of the redirects off if I really need to

Easy to use. Good. Although extension updates often break prior settings and I've needed to reset settings after an auto-update.

Its the most well developed Libre redirect extensions on Firefox.. Kudos to the developer keep it up.

Tried the extension to bypass Imgur VPN block. Didn't work at all.
