The website you mentionned worked perfectly for me. I could download a movie and play it just fine.
Have you tried, in order :
-Opening the add-on in a tab. Make sure "Offline download" is checked in the options"
-Refreshing the page where the video is
- Starting the video playback
- In the add-on, click "Refresh list"
- Download the 1st of the 2 .m3u8 files listed
