What happens? well it won't make ads disappear, but you won't have to watch/hear them - the video goes a grey color and youtube throws an error while their ad isn't being shown to you. Youtube shows way too many ads. If only they were more reasonable (for example, if they showed only TEXT ads) then I would be perfectly fine with that and there would be no need for this browser extension.
