jobelp ("we") respects user privacy. This extension:

• Only reads the content of the job posting page the user is actively viewing
  (title, company, location, description) — no background/passive scraping.
• Sends this data to our own backend (api.jobelp.com) solely to compute an
  AI-based job-match score, only when the user explicitly clicks "Analyze"
  and has given consent via an in-page checkbox.
• Does NOT permanently store the raw job description text on our servers —
  only the resulting score and short reasoning are kept.
• Redacts phone numbers/emails found in job text before sending to the AI
  provider (best-effort, not a guarantee).
• Does not collect browsing history, does not access passwords or payment
  information, and does not sell or share data with third parties.
• Users can delete their account and all associated data at any time from
  the jobelp.com dashboard.
