A great idea, but poorly executed. Lots of bugs and performance issues. This morning it won't open at all.

In which folder all the notes are being stored?

I thought notes were associated or linked to the web page where they were taken, as it should. What's the goal of a notebook app in a browser if the notes are not related to the pages?

La synchronisation entre appli smartphone et extension navigateur sur PC est aléatoire.
Accumulation d'historique "sur cet ordinateur".
De plus pour se connecter il faut entrer un code de sécurité transmis par mail même après entrée mot de passe. C'est très lourd pour un fonctionnement erratique.
J'utilise des mots de passe sécurisés, et il me faudrait vraiment une option pour supprimer cette connexion à deux étages totalement anti ergonomique sur un smartphone.
Soyez la solution pas le problème ;-)

Have been using this for months now and noticed that it was adding ****Notes on this computer**** or something similar to some of my notes so many times that it would lag Firefox. Could not stop this behaviour between phone and computer so deleted notes on phone and it synced straight away to desktop and I've lost everything. Am shattered...

Not working for FF 73.0.1 on Win10. Notes sidebar appears, but there is no way to type in anything. Don't see any "+ New Note" button or any other button. Just an empty side pane with apparently no text box in it.

Worked just great until one day it didn't. I got a "Notes Storage Full" error and then one of my longer notes that I had been adding to for a couple months wouldn't open anymore. I almost lost it all except I was patient and gave it a minute to open. Once open it was very sluggish but I was eventually able to copy the text out. It seemed to have trouble syncing because my note text was duplicated several times over with the note *** On this computer: *** appearing several times, making the note 10x longer than it should have. Will never use again.

Nicht genug Speicherplatz ist die Fehlermeldung. Hab das Addon schon deinstalliert und neuinstalliert.

Die Anmeldung ist nicht mehr möglich, weder unter Ubuntu noch unter Windows :-(

It is very lagging when you add a lot of text

Notes wäre ein praktischer Zusatz, die Idee ist perfekt - dass es sich aber manchmal mehrmals täglich wieder ausloggt, nervt ungemein. Ich nutze es aus diesem Grunde fast gar nicht mehr.

20.10.: Hab's gerade deinstalliert. Das ständige Einloggen nervt und das Tool ist zu unzuverlässig. Meine gesamten Notizen von gestern sind gerade beim Wieder-Einloggen verschwunden.

unfortunately I need to register every time I start the notes app on my Android phone since last update. That makes it useless for me. Before it was a simple but helpful tool.

Its not showing and there is no icon to access it.

Après plusieurs essais infructueux pour synchroniser entre elles des notes prises sur un ordinateur portable et un fixe il est apparu qu'il fallait sortir du mode navigation privée pour que ces notes se synchronisent effectivement. Ayant redémarré avec ces nouveaux paramétrages sur les deux postes, Firefox a non pas synchronisé entre elles les notes entre les deux ordinateurs mais a tout simplement écrasé toutes les notes déjà prises : bilan des heures de travail dans le cadre d'un travail de recherche perdues d'un seul coup ! Assez consternant de devoir rectifier une situation déjà aberrante (navigation privée qui bloque la synchronisation) tout cela pour perdre toutes ses données, sans même un message d'avertissement ! Consternant pour un navigateur du calibre de Firefox !

Select "sync your notes" begin a line with # or ##? I just want a means of making notes of highlighted texts and symbols, URL's. Gone.

Needs an ability to add a link to the site the note is taken on. Has sync issues in requiring me to sign in constantly.

Expand on it to make it a research tool and not just another place to type notes like it already is.

After all a note is a piece of paper to throw away when you cannot connect it to something the note is pertaining to. And we all have those pieces of paper with a note on it when we pick it up we are asking ourselves, why did I write this and what was it pertaining to...

Many times truing to login and zero success even with added Notes app.
Always ask for email and password w/o success.
Something is wrong.
