It's perfect, but for some reason the HTML widget only supports raw html and css, no script. No need to worry, I simply chose to use an iframe for my self coded widget.
Thanks for the review. Firefox doesn't allow extensions to run inline code for security reasons, so if you want scripts then iframe is the intended widget. There's even a tutorial on the Renewed Tab website
