- Automatically use vertical-oriented command titles when vertical tabs is on. Requires permission to access browser settings. (May require restart to take effect; you can do this via the options page).
- Parent and Descendants command is now Parent and Descendants (Family), with 'F' as its new default access key (Windows, Linux).
- Parent and Descendants (Family) no longer switches to the parent tab (now keeps the active tab unchanged or switches to the target tab).
- Clear/Invert/Cluster commands are now Clear Selection/Invert Selection/Selection Cluster for clarity.
Fixed- Shift-clicking a command to add to existing selection did not work.
- Some commands retained old-version descriptions on the Manage Extension Shortcuts page.

These changes may disrupt Select Tabs' existing user experience, justifying the major version bump:- "To the Left/Right" commands renamed "To the Start/End", and their access keys (Windows, Linux) changed from L/R to A/E.
- The way preferences are internally stored is reworked, resetting user preferences. (So please revisit your preferences.)
- "Add One Left/Right" commands. (Requested by aforest)
- Preferences page now has automatic dark mode.
