- 5 üzerinden 4 puanyazan: Cyberdyne, 6 gün önceI use this extension for one feature, and one feature only — pull to refresh. The built-in Firefox Android pull to refresh option is straight up broken, and has been broken for years now. After trying many pull to refresh extensions, it's clear to me this one gets the job done best. No more random unintended refreshes.
Some small annoyances preventing five stars though. "Simple gestures for Android" is full of other options that you need to disable one by one, then enable only pull to refresh, it's a pretty tedious process. Selecting a good gesture window/delay time is tricky, too long and you'll trigger some accidental refreshes, too short and you won't be fast enough to trigger a refresh when you want one. Ideally I should be using a longer delay window and have the ability to swipe up to cancel it. But, clearly the gesture engine here doesn't support something like that. That said, the 750ms time I've settled on works well enough, and still far better than the built in Firefox pull to refresh.
One bug I've encountered is, if a page fails to load, pull to refresh (and probably the entire extension) doesn't function at all. You essentially need a fully loaded html website to do your refresh. It's not a common issue, but every now and then you'll run into a bad spot for internet, or a link will be temporarily broken, forcing you to use the traditional refresh button. This may not actually be a bug though — I'm not sure that extensions can interact with an empty web page.Geliştiricinin yanıtı

I understand what you mean — it’s definitely tedious to turn off everything just to use pull-to-refresh. I’m planning to release a separate extension dedicated only to pull-to-refresh. I had paused the project for a while because of some bugs and lack of motivation, but I’m planning to restart development. It may take some time before it’s ready, though.
> Ideally I should be using a longer delay window and have the ability to swipe up to cancel it.
You're absolutely right — there should be a way to cancel the gesture by swiping up. I’ll fix that in the next version (it might take a little time for Mozilla’s review process).
For now, you can actually cancel a pending gesture by moving your finger far enough upward (or sideways), so please use that as a temporary workaround.
> I'm not sure that extensions can interact with an empty web page.
Yes, you’re correct — the extension doesn’t work on blank or failed-to-load pages. I’ve confirmed that extensions can’t interact with empty web pages, so this behavior is expected.

- 5 üzerinden 5 puanyazan: YellHeah, bir ay önceI picked this up a while ago and forgot about it. I just rediscovered it by accidentally entering the gesture to open its settings, and GOTTDANG I'M SO GLAD I DID.
This is my new favorite mobile extension!! It wouldn't be if Mobile had a good tab manager, or tree-style-tabs... but it doesn't, so Simple Gesture is the GOAT!
I'm making most of my programmed gestures vaguely reminiscent of Latin capital letters, so they're easier to remember. The programming and understanding is so beautifully easy to understand, and the settings menu covers everything it needs to and not an inch more. It's good UX design at it's purest.
Also I'm rubbing my hands together and giggling as I consider getting back into JavaScript to take advantage of the Custom Commands feature hidden at the bottom~ >:) - 5 üzerinden 5 puanyazan: MothOnFIre, 2 ay önceIs there a way to require the gesture to be from the edge of the screen? It pops up when I use a gesture, but I can't find a way to require it.
Edit: thank you for the quick response!Geliştiricinin yanıtı
gönderilme: 2 ay önceYou can ignore the square shown in the popup and draw the gesture starting from the edge of the screen — that will work.
(The popup design hasn’t been updated to clearly indicate edge gestures yet, so it can be a bit confusing...) - 5 üzerinden 5 puanyazan: Firefox kullanıcısı 19490321, 3 ay önce

I think it's fixed in 3.34.1, but if it doesn't work, I'll overwrite it with the version 3.33.2!- 5 üzerinden 5 puanyazan: Firefox kullanıcısı 13352632, 5 ay önce

- I like this extension. In the new version description it says “New: Support 2 or more fingers” but I can’t find this feature. I would like to set two finger touch to open a link in a new tab like safari on ipados. Is this possible? I a using double right now for this. So where is this 2 finger support?
Edit: Thank You. You added the feature I was looking forGeliştiricinin yanıtı
gönderilme: 7 ay önceOh, sorry.
I supported two-finger swipes, but forgot to support two-finger taps.
Might take some time.
I create a new issue.

v3.30 supports it.
(But 2 or more fingers double-tap is not yet supported.)

The API provided by Firefox is unstable, but you can use it by turning on “Enable experimental features” on the settings page.
> And maybe add two finger swipes.
Sorry, it will take some time to work on this.
I'll add it to the issues list.

Why does it need clip-board access though?Geliştiricinin yanıtı

I done. (see About Extensions) - 5 üzerinden 4 puanyazan: Dan, 2 yıl önceIt's a useful extension but there's one issue. If you have one tab open and you close it with a gesture, that tab freezes. It doesn't open the homepage.

I fixed to hide the timeouts when 'Diaplay Command' is disabled in v3.12.2.
