Are you sure? I've tested this on firefox v121.0 & v122.0 and it works correctly. Keep in mind, the addon button will be hidden by default in the top right corner under the extensions dropdown menu. You can prevent it by right-clicking the addon and selecting "pin to toolbar".
In the future, the addon will default to the navbar automatically.
