I'm sorry, developer, but I've tried and tried to get a manual for this extension, to no avail. The user interface is not so obvious that you don't need one.

You say "You can even save all you windows and tabs for later with just one click!" - ok, then, how do I do that? I had a ton of tabs open, clicked on the "save websites for later", closed firefox, and when I came back there was no sign of those tabs anywhere! I'm so aggravated!

Please include documentation for your project! Your shortcuts don't help. A window is a collection of tabs? Or is that the little folder icon? Shortcut for opening last window does not work for me.

Why do you assume we know these things? Btw, I'm computer savvy, even dabble in a couple of programming languages. And yet I cannot use your extension!

Once you click on the "save websites for later" button and it shows you a checkmark indicating it saved successfully, you just need to click the second button right below it and it will restore everything. I hoped it would be visible and clear since it's shown immediately on the front page.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by the little folder icon, but all the tabs should just show up directly on the front. Windows should say "Window 1", 2, and so on. In that way yeah it's a collection of tabs.

As for the shortcuts it's kind of a spaghetti of different operating systems having different shortcut conflicts, and so I've tried to make it so that it's easy to change the shortcuts to your own specifications.     Really wanted to like this extension, but for my use case it doesn't do what I need: I need it to only show tabs which are not hidden, since I use tab groups, and all tabs which are not in the current group are hidden, yet Tabby shows all tabs, which means it shows tabs in all groups, rather than just the tabs (non-hidden tabs) of the current group. Add this one feature and this extension would be a winner for me.

    basically useless, because the scroll bar pops up over the little "x" which makes it impossible to close windows from the menu.

    I find the authorization for “Access your data for various websites” extremely powerful. Firefox explains the following on its website:

    “Access your data for all websites

    The extension could read the content of any website you visit as well as the data you enter there, such as usernames and passwords.

    Extensions that request this authorization could:

    Read product and pricing information on a website to find the best price for items you want to buy.
    Provide a password manager that reads and writes details of your username and password.
    Provide an adblocker that examines the content of every web page you visit to find and remove ads. ”

    [Later] I hope development continues now FF introduced it's own tab sidebar, it doesn't meet my needs.


    I've tried many related add-ons & this is my final choice, especially for easier accessibility. I also rely a lot on visuals due to bad eyesight which causes fatigue.

    I saw comments/reviews mentioning "right-clicking the tab doesn't offer the option to rename a window"

    I was also confused initially, but I realized that you need to right-click "Window 1" bar in the add-on's drop-down, not the window itself.

    My main desire would be allowing me to minimize the windows' lists so I can navigate them in the add-on quicker instead of having to scroll past all the tabs to get to the window I want to rename/manage. There already seems to be an issue on the github repo requesting the ability to fold the lists, but other than that it's a simple little tool I already appreciate.
