    it's been a while since this addon not working as it is should, the IDM download panel in YouTube always captures videos in 144p quality, so I have to refresh the site several times (3-6) to capture the other all quality (144,240,360,720P.....)

    It's not working after the update.
    You have to delete and reinstall the extension each time you close the browser :(

    @Nicholas, afaik getting the trusted badge depends only on Mozilla staff, ie how often they bother to review the add-on. And since you've installed desktop app, don't you already trust them? Because any desktop program have infinitely more power and access than just a browser add-on

    @Nicholas, Actually the data it mentions was accessible from the start, it is just informing the users now. The addon claims that it sends those data only to the installed desktop client. As the addon (and the desktop client) is not open-source, the users are in dark here and has to take Tonec on it's words. The least Tonec Inc. can do is let Mozilla audit their addon and get the trusted badge so that users can be sure their browsing habit isn't being sold to the highest bidder.

    So it's asking me to use my personal informations, when I pressed "I Disagree" the extension stopped working we have no choice but accepting them to use our personal data.. Time to remove this.

    "The data may include URL, internet address, cookies, encrypted credentials, query parameters, form data, namely all the data that the browser sends to the server when requesting the file. In some cases this data may contain your personal information."

    Nothing has changed in IDM regarding this data collection since year 1999

    To download files or multimedia content Firefox browser makes requests to servers over the network. This add-on transfers data of such requests to Internet Download Manager (IDM) desktop application to download files in IDM instead of browser.

    This is a new requirement from Mozilla to obtain consent from users when information from Firefox is passed to another application.

    Mozilla treats URL (internet download address) as potentially personally identifying information, and we have to write about it.

    Please note that we (as a company) don't collect information that may contain personal information from Firefox browser. "IDM Integration module" add-on transfers only download information to Internet Download Manager desktop software, which in turn sends it to the same server that Firefox browser tried to send it before.

    This information is never sent to us, or our servers. This is what we write in the detailed Privacy Policy below.

    IDM stores this information on your local hard diskin system registry only. When you delete download from IDM, this information will be deleted as well.

    Please note that URL as a part of this information may contain potentially personally identifying information in very rare cases. Anyway we have to warn about it according to new Mozilla policies.

    Suddenly asking a lot privacy. 'Download with IDM' did not appear on context menu did not appear. Please fix this bug.
