Love this app and have one feature request.

I normally use the default tabs at the top of the window, and open Tree Style Tab when I have too many tabs open. It would be cool if there were an option to automatically open the Tree Style Tab sidebar when a specified number of tabs were open.

So an option like:

Automatically open sidebar when n tabs are opened.

I just cannot understand why FF is the only browser which has such handy plugin!

Tree Style Tab occasionally seems to hang when restarting Firefox,or following a reboot,in which case I simply close the sidebar (using X),then reinstall it with Firefox still running,reopen it,and everything's back to normal again.

No longer working after updating to 2.6.8. I now have the well fabled 'white dot' syndrome,and uninstalling and going back to the previous version doesn't fix it unfortunately.

This is a love-hate relationship. The concept is great. The implementation is horrible.
Sometimes this add-on just mixes up the hierarchy of my tabs and I painfully have to reorder them by hand. This can be a lot of a work since this add-on espeacially makes sense when you use many tabs.

Absolutely essential. I've used this extension for more than 5 years and refuse to ever browse without it. The best of all the vertical tab applications and really should be the STANDARD way to browse now that we all have wide screen monitors. Nothing else makes sense.

This add-on is one of the main reasons I use Firefox over any other browser.

This is great if you have opened like 10 more tabs.
But I love to auto show/hide if it more than xxx tabs open.
Is this possible?

I thought that the giant grey bar it makes is intrusive, also I dont like it zooming out the page at at. A transparency setting would be great. Ways to make it smaller and less intrusive to the website would be nice as well.

I use LOTS of tabs. Having grouped tabs, with a tree structure (like a filesystem) is the most sane way to manage having lots of tabs open. I cannot understand why this isn't default behavior. This is the first extension I install immediately after installing Firefox. Every. Single. Time.

This is the single most useful add-in for Firefox, and is actually the major reason that I still use Firefox as my primary browser. The ability to organize tabs into groups so that I can manage tasks, and easily switch between groups related to the various tasks and projects that I am working on makes my life so much easier. If you have more than a few dozen tabs this becomes the _only_ way to effectively manage them. It's so useful that it's used by pretty much every developer in our organization.

Great addon , please add :
- mousewheel scrolling in the tabs
- color for groups of tabs (a click on a link opens a new tab in the same color of the current tab)
- Tabs counter on the top or bottom of the side bar
- smaller sidebar Title (it takes the size of almost 2 tabs)
- a tutorial on the web page of the addon to explain how to remove the native horizontal tab bar
