    • Reverse domain name corrected — Native app ID changed from com.vnpay.signer to vn.vnpay.signer (proper reverse-domain format). All references updated: extension code, tests, README, and onboarding docs.
    • Permission flow responsiveness — Fire-and-forget pattern applied to native messaging calls in the permission flow. Background handler no longer blocks popup response while the content script retries through the native host (USB token signing can take seconds).
    • Popup dismiss handling — PermissionGate now auto-rejects when the user dismisses the popup by clicking outside (via blur event), preventing hung permission prompts.

    • Decoupled status check & certificate retrieval — Previously handleSync bundled both connection check and certificate list fetching into a single call. Now separated: checkStatus only pings connection state; getCerts is called automatically via a useEffect watcher when online status is detected. Users will see faster UI feedback and fewer hangs.
    • Fixed expiration date display bug — Certificates with invalid dates were incorrectly shown as active. Now correctly displayed as expired.
    • UI improvements — Certificate panel header is always visible (even when no data is loaded), and the sync button is disabled while loading. Popup header auto-hides when the permission request screen (PermissionGate) is shown.
