1. the link on how to set it up takes to google-chrome, which is not the best. Within that doc the link in "First of all you have to create a new client on your wallabag installation. How to do that is described in Documentation" is not working. Anyhow, I managed to do the client.
2. While setting up the addon preferences (nice that it takes you there when error in import) I didnt know what to write in wallabag url. I assume this option is necessary for self-hosted (I have no idea), but when I tried at first the default app.wallabag.it it wasn't checking Ok. I spent all the time up and down your documentation to find the app url, assuming it was related to client; stupid me I even tested the one in your example "v2.wallabag.org", and I think that finally restarting firefox changed something in cache or whatever that captured the default url as a correct one.
3. A Youtube/vimeo video would be helpful.

Das muss für mich entweder optional sein oder es darf nur nach weiterem aktiven klick (nicht nur das icon) gespeichert werden. Alles andere führt numal oft dazu, das man seine gespeicherten Seiten zumüllt, nur weil man das icon vlt. versehentlich auswählt. gönderilme: 9 ay önceHi there, Firefox for Android changed the way we have to make it works. It's working as expected on Firefox Desktop. One star for an extension you didn't use is kind of rough though. - 5 üzerinden 5 puanyazan: Kelson, 10 ay önceSimilar to Pocket, but you can (optionally) host your own server. Less polished, but it does the job, making it easy to save the current page to read later, with optional tagging in the save dialog.
And it can save the content from the page you're viewing now, which is helpful for sites with login walls.

Clicking the toolbar button throws an error, "api.GetTags().then is not a function."
Wallabag itself is working fine. I'm using a self-hosted Wallabag instance - Wallabag is hosted on my NAS which is on the same LAN as the machine running Firefox and the addon. I can access the Wallabag instance from my laptop and save articles with it, but the addon stops at the "Wallabag permission checked" step like described above, unfortunately :/ - 5 üzerinden 4 puanyazan: don_dolarson, 3 yıl önceSo far works good, LibreWolf 116.0.2-1. Let's see how it behaves in long term. Registered, created API token, pasted everything needed in the extension and voila. Setup took less than 5 minutes. Easy peasy even for a noob.

The url provided in the developer's response fixed my issue, but this addon is still far, far too complex to set up for the average user.

These instructions don't make any sense if you're a paid subscriber. The firefox addon asks for a url, and none is provided in the instructions. I tried https://app.wallabag.it/ (since I'm a paid subscriber) and the options page still says 'url not checked' so I can't get this thing to work.Geliştiricinin yanıtı
