Clearwater is a transparent lens for evaluating the quality of web content.

The extension analyzes the current page and helps bring hidden problems into view, including:

• unsupported or misleading claims;
• one-sided framing and manipulation;
• internal contradictions;
• repetitive AI-generated slop;
• SEO filler with little useful information;
• topic drift and failure to deliver on the headline.

Clearwater does not block websites or decide what you are allowed to read. It shows what it found, explains why an issue was flagged, and points to the relevant parts of the text. The final judgment always remains with the user.


After analyzing a page, you can publish the result for other Clearwater users.

This allows people to view and reuse an existing analysis instead of repeatedly checking the same page from scratch.

A published check may include the overall assessment, explanations, detected issues, and relevant text fragments. Publishing is optional and controlled by the user.
