Usage Guide

1. Install the Extension
- Click "Add to Firefox" to install YouTube SpeedUp.

2. Open a YouTube Video
- Go to any YouTube video page.

3. Find the Speedometer Icon
- Look for the speedometer icon near YouTube's default video controls (subtitles, settings, etc.).

4. Adjust Playback Speed
- Scroll up with your mouse wheel to speed up the video (e.g., 1.25x → 1.5x).
- Scroll down with your mouse wheel to slow down the video (e.g., 1.5x → 1.25x).
- Left-click the speedometer icon to reset playback speed to normal (1.0x).

5. See the Current Speed
- Hover over the speedometer icon to see a popup showing the current playback speed.

Note

Supports speeds from 0.25x to 16x.
Default speed shift step is 0.25x.

Compatibility

Designed for Firefox on desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux).
