Summary

Extension UI is reworked to look more modern and better. added a settings menu and now clicking on the stats piled take you to the block tools menu and their corresponding sub section. Series block support has been added and toggle crossover block, max fandom block and toggle kudos/hits ration button has also been added to it.
New Features
Dedicated Series Blocker Tool

Added a Series tool under Block Tools.

You can block an entire series by pasting its URL .
In-page work blurbs also have a "Hide Series" button if the work is part of a series.


Crossover Protection & Max Fandoms Stepper

Added a "Block Crossovers" toggle in Settings to hide works with more than 1 fandom.

Added a Max Fandoms stepper so you can set a threshold (e.g. allow 2-fandom crossovers, but block fics like those with 5+ or 10+ fandoms).
Interactive Stats Bar Navigation

Clicking on any category pill in the stats header (Authors, Series, Fandoms, Tags, Fics, Languages, Words) now takes you directly to that section in Block Tools.

Clicking "Total" takes you to My Blocks.
Menu Reorganization (3 Tabs)

Split the Menu into three tabs:

My Blocks: View, search, and delete your blocked items.
Block Tools: Generator tools for Authors, Series, Fandoms & Tags, Fics, Languages, and Words.
Settings & Backup: Filter settings, crossover controls, Kudos badge toggle, and export/import options.

Kudos Badge Toggle

Added a switch in Settings to disable the Kudos/Hits ratio badge if you do not want it shown on blurbs.
Replaced Emojis with SVGs

Swapped out raw emojis in the popup buttons and in-page modals with SVG icons.

Exported JSON now includes series. Old backup files still load and import without issues.

What's New

Collapse Mode

You can now choose how blocked works are displayed.

• Hide removes blocked works from the page entirely.
• Collapse replaces them with a placeholder showing why the work was blocked.
• Collapsed works can be individually shown or hidden using the Show button.
• The setting is available from both the extension popup and AO3 navigation.

Custom Block Reasons

Blocking something can now include an optional reason.

Reasons can be added when blocking:

• Authors
• Tags
• Works
• Languages
• Words

Reasons are limited to 500 characters and are shown on collapsed works and in My Blocks.

The reason prompt also includes a character counter.

Word Blacklist

You can now block works based on specific words.

Blocked words are checked against:

• Author names
• Work titles
• Tags

Matching is case-insensitive and uses whole words only, so blocking "cat" will not block "caterpillar".

Blocked words can be managed from My Blocks, or added directly from AO3 using the new Block Word button.

Copy CSS ID

Every work blurb now has a Copy CSS ID button.

Clicking it copies the work's CSS ID in the format:

.work-123456

This makes it easier to use work IDs in custom CSS.

Updated Stats

The work stats bar now includes word count.

• v2.0 and v2.1 JSON exports are automatically converted to the current format when imported.
• Improved handling of older block entries that stored authors as strings or did not have reason fields.
• Improved wrapping of long words in block chips and collapse placeholders.

Export Format

The export format has been updated to v3.0.

New exports include:

• blockedWords
• hideMode
• Block reasons

Import remains backward compatible with older v2.x exports, so existing settings can be imported without manually converting the file.
