The recent update to add the floating widget on screen is extremely annoying. Makes shopping impossible. I can't see what I'm shopping for!
Unrelated to that but still a problem is that over the past 6 months or so the extension seems to have stopped working. I need to fill out a ticket to get my cash back every time I buy something now. I've turned off other extensions I thought might be interfering with it but no luck. Been using Rakuten since 2018 without any issues until recently.

оприлюднено рік томуThank you for this feedback about this new feature of our extension. We are sorry this new feature is in your way. You can move the "bubble" icon up and down the side of the website so you are able to see anything it may be currently blocking from view.
We typically see these issues with eligible orders not tracking when our Members have any ad or internet traffic blocking extensions added and enabled in the browser they use to access our services or at the computer/network level when shopping from a laptop or desktop computer. This issue may also be caused by the anti-virus software you currently use. Updating the extensions or anti-virus software to trust Rakuten, in most cases, resolves these issues. For more help, please reach out to us at socialhelp@rakuten.com.

Contacted Rakuten and received the generic "we will reach out" response. Hard to believe there is something worse than their normal tracking. So not only is this add on extremely intrusive with pop ups it doesn't work.
Reply to developer response: How exactly will you "review this" other than to say we'll reach out to the merchant and if they didn't track it then it is the users fault? Fact is there are better cash back sites that actually have relationships with merchants rather than Rakuten's "oh well, it's your fault" response.Відповідь розробника

Then, you can download our Rakuten Browser Extension from our website, Rakuten.com, or through Firefox Browser Add-Ons page. I've literally lost hundreds of dollars since this app doesn't work. I've been promised money back, I click on what needs to be done, it's confirmed and NOTHING. It's a scam.

оприлюднено 8 місяців томуIf you see you are making Shopping Trips and our extension is activating, then it may be some internet traffic filtering service or VPN is active or an issue with the merchant recognizing the order as eligible for Cash Back through us. This may be why your eligible orders aren't reporting.
