від JohnDN, 2 роки томуFeedbro is a great RSS Feed Reader and nicely designed, I have been using it for Podcast feeds but there is a design flaw when importing feeds that I hope can soon be rectified. I imported about 50 feeds and noticed they would only display 20 entries each (the default max), so I increased that to the max 100 in the settings and nothing changed.
I found out that I had to remove and add the feed again for it to follow the new max entry setting, this is a nuisance and ideally it needs to follow the new setting whenever it is changed, which may mean the feed needs to be reset and reloaded when that setting is changed. Also the max default of 100 on the selection could also do with the option of higher settings, but if the above issue is resolved then it will be easy to select a higher setting from the individual feed menu. It can be handy to increase and decrease max entries as required, but that's not currently possible with this flaw and each time the feed has to be removed and re-added.
Thanks for the well designed RSS Feed Reader add-on and hopefully you'll soon be able to resolve the minor flaw I mentioned above.

оприлюднено 2 роки томуFeedbro works as designed. For performance reasons Feedbro doesn't load articles that are older than the newest currently loaded article. Therefore if you first add a feed and the update the max entries to save value, older articles aren't loaded. However, when new articles show up in the feed over time, in the end you will have [max articles to save] number of articles in the feed.

- Оцінка 3 з 5від binomialtie7087, місяць томуGood simple rss/atom feed reader. it works as a browser extension so doesn't require logging in to some server hosted platform that trys to push you to pay for a better version of itself, whilst also not being a complex hard to understand self-hosted thingy. decent amount of customisability with 4 colour themes and several layouts. unfortunately it doesn't allow for subfolders, but ive managed around that. also recently embedded youtube videos no longer work which suucks, brings my review down from what probably wouldve been a four or five to three!

- Оцінка 1 з 5від t'svai, 2 місяці томуhave used this for years to follow a variety of types of feeds, and it worked great until now. i especially like that i can manually drag-and-drop sort my folders and feeds, (which most other readers i've tried don't allow). it was a very good extension-based rss reader *while it was still fully functional*.
however, within the last few weeks or so, embeds in youtube feeds have stopped functioning and all return error 153.
this extension and many of nodetics' other extensions haven't been updated in multiple years (which didn't bother me until things started breaking... and still no updates came), and some reviews for some of their extensions indicate that the developers are no longer responsive to support emails. it's hard to say for absolute certain, but it seems likely that feedbro's development has been abandoned, which means that even more things - eventually important things - may break as time goes on.
for this reason, i'm lowering my review score, but will raise it again if extension development shows any signs of life in the future. with things as they are now - stuff breaking with no sign of maintenance updates - i can't recommend this extension to anyone. - Оцінка 4 з 5від Користувач Firefox 19532291, 2 місяці томуWould STRONGLY benefit from automatic/scheduled/triggered exports of backups (OPML etc.) to user designated location(s).
It could then be set up to sync across devices and their various apps, guard against data loss, convenience.
