I understand that Firefox developers had to do something with the browser, stopping the decline of this browser. But with reducing the API-Possiblities nearly 90% of my addons disappeared. And these were the reason for me to use Firefox. Among these was the awesome "Session Manager".
"Mysessions"-Addon seem to be a good replacement, thanks to you croms :)
Some points and questions:
1. Please all, try to write in English (not Russian), so we can understand all your questions (btw i do it myself, engl. is not my mother language).
2. i will write some translation und hints to you croms for your addon. Thanks for your answer to my first comment here.
3. "enable lazy loding.." is clear now, i enable it, so only 1 Tab opens if i restore my session.
but whats with "discarded property": does it beginning from Vers. 63 the same as "lazy loading" ?
So better let both chosen ?
4. " Export sessions as a list of URLs." - how can i do it ?

Для автосохранения открытых вкладок пользовался раньше дополнением Session Manager. Всё устраивало, но с января 2017-го оно не обновляется и на последних версиях Firefox уже не работает.
В отличии от этого дополнения, Session Manager сохранял каждую сессию в отдельный файл своего формата и потом с этими файлами можно было довольно удобно работать. MySession сохраняет все открытые вкладки в Закладки, каждое сохранение в отдельную папку что даёт некоторые минусы при работе с Закладками:
1. Все адреса страниц в открытых вкладках, которые уже хоть раз были сохранены с помощью MySession, отмечаются как добавленные в Избранное (синей звёздочкой), поэтому не всегда понятно, сохранял ты конкретно этот адрес в нужную тебе папку Закладок или нет.
2. При поиске в самих Закладках (Закладки - Показать все закладки) на введённый поисковый запрос выводится много копий одних и тех же результатов (по количеству сохранённых сессий), поэтому когда сохранённых сессий много - что немного мешает. Отчасти, это связано с тем, что встроенный в Firefox поиск по закладкам не удобный, поскольку не даёт возможности искать только в нужных тебе папках, а ищет по всем сразу, включая лежащие в стороне папки MySession.
А в целом, дополнение неплохое и со своей основной задачей справляется хорошо.

Практически всё устраивает. Но мне не хватило следующих возможностей:
-Хранить автосохранённые сессии в отдельной папке от сессий, которые были сохранены пользователем вручную. Когда имеется куча сессий, половина из них сохранена вручную, половина - автоматически, достаточно сложно найти среди них то, что нужно;
-Имя сохраняемой сессии по умолчанию: "MySession". У пользователя нет возможностя самому указать имя сессии по умолчанию. А ещё лучше давать имя сессии соответствующее текущей дате и времени, вроде "2018-09-25 09:43", как это сделано в Session Sync.
- Продолжая про Session Sync. Там есть возможность открывать дополнение в отдельной вкладке или даже окне. В этом дополнении только небольшое окно справа-вверху. Размеры этого окна пользователь, кстати, не может поменять. А хотелось бы.
-Придирка зануды: хотелось бы иметь возможность задать время сохранения сессии. О чём я? Можно сделать так, чтобы она сохранялась в "красивые" моменты времени. Т.е. например, сессия автоматически сохраняется каждые 10 минут, т.е. красивые моменты для неё будут - hh:00, hh:10, hh:20 и т.д. Для параметра равного 20 минутам это - hh:00, hh:20, hh:40. Но это я занудствую.

It works with 70 tabs, but it does not work with 300 tabs.
Please, could you make it work with 300 or more tabs?

Unlike Tab Session Manager, it does not peg the CPU on the thread running FF. It creates bookmarks for all open tabs, and like Tab Session Manager, it can save sessions on an automatic timer. It might seem that if you bookmark a page and it gets saved, then it will change the bookmark's location to one of the saved session bookmark folders. This is not what happens. Instead, FF has acquired the ability to store a bookmark in more than one folder. There is only one major drawback of doing it this way, so far as I've found in the few days I've been using it. The little blue star that indicates if a bookmark is already saved, and the Add Bookmark dialog, indicate that the tab is already saved in one of the session folders, as if it had been manually bookmarked. I think it would be much better if it were stored in the browser's database, like Tab Session Manager has converted to.

С Lazy Tabs бывает долго грузит табы и жрет весь процессор.
При этом пишет в адресной строке moz-extension://...
В самом табе пишет титул страницы и адрес.
И висит так долгое время.

Great addon. I was wondering if you could make it able to make it so clicking on the name of the window folds all the tabs inside (hides them until you click on it's title again) to make it easier to select tabs or windows to restore/save on sessions with multiple tabs and windows.

The hope is that when stored, the title of the page can be automatically used instead of the fixed use of MySession.

I would prefer something like Session Manager by Michael Kraft. but Michael has yet to update to FF 57, and frankly FF 57 is worlds faster than it's predecessor. WebExtensions is the way to go, a far superior platform. I don't understand why there is such resistance to just fucking modernize already. MySessions could use an update to the UI, something like Michael's, but it gets the job done.

Works great! Best of all, it plays nice with Tree Style Tab. Other session managers tend to lose tab hierarchy but because sessions are saved as bookmarks, this information is preserved.

The UI looks a bit out of date, but it doesn't really bother me.

1. I would like to be able to automatically open the last used tabs when logging in (Firefox on start).

2. Delete the selected ones (backups) at once and I would like delete all of them at the same time.

Ich konnte damit gespeicherte Sitzungen vom Addon "Session Manager", welches mit Firefox 57+ nicht mehr funktioniert, importieren.

Great addon for saving tabs for later.
Also, using bookmarks as a session storage is a good decision.
You can use any bookmark addon to work with sessions for e.g. syncing between different computers and so on.

Unfortunately "Crash recovery" does not working as expected.
After I close and open browser most of my tabs in last session (from "crash recovery") is lost because URLs contains some garbage (tab title or something). It happens to me in 50% situations.

Я так понимаю, открытие всех вкладок по одной — не-баг-а-фича новой лисы, судя по тому, что так делают все «заменители» старого Session Manager? В любом случае, этот пока — лучший.

Здравствуйте!
Я правильно понял, что положение табов в сохраненных сессиях не сохраняется? Или это у меня только так? Хотелось бы, чтобы сохраненные табы при перезапуске FF восстанавливались в том же порядке, в каком они были на момент сохранения сессии. А то я рассортировал их как мне надо, завершил FF, запустил заново - все вкладки перемешаны...

I really like this session manager, but what I am sad about is that it insists to open a new WINDOW and not just open the "saved session" into the EXISTING WINDOW, and populate the tabs from there.

At least if there could be a setting, that asks....do you want to "Open a new Window", that could be unticked. It seems to me this could be just perfect if we had that choice. Many thanks though, and please introduce that setting if you can? I'd love to make my 4* review a 5* review!

How would i go about exporting sessions from this? Is there a folder somewhere where i can make a copy?
