Ok, I have enough of it (of getting this to work). It looked like the devs fixed it, but here's the issue:

Installed Nano Defender and Nano Adblocker to keep it simple. Both from AMO. Doesn't work on certain websites though. For example for imgView.net, https://imgrock.pw/ , https://imgtown.pw and so forth.

Tried the quick issue submitter, but it gave me a hard time. It said the issue is fixed. Maybe it was, but it's not anymore. So I was required to go to Github. Little bit too nerdy for me. Spent half an hour just to find a unused username to sign up.

I did try to add the issue, but I did it wrong and I can't be bothered to "study" how to report an issue. You almost need a license just to be able to report something. I'm happy with simply being an end-user.

Two stars for the effort because I don't like 1 star. But right now it hasn't been a success for me.

Edit: added a star because it looks like the devs are really trying. This is a toughie though.

Edit 2: added another star (to 4) because it does a good job overall.

The reason we need multiple information because we cannot reproduce issue for those sites. Therefore we ask for step to reproduce, screenshot and console in order to know what's wrong. Although it is complicated for reporters, those are required or we cannot fix without knowing the cause.
Even though your issue being closed as invalid, you can still modify your issue. Once your issue can be reproduced, your issue will be re-considered (this time I edit for you for your reference).

Edit: Your issue is confirmed and we are working on your issue right now. Please wait for next version for fix.

    Nano Defender Integracion and filters are outdated because gitcdn.xyz its down an long time ago! Please update sources.
    In alternative you can use mirrors to continue using Nano Defender. Google it

    The extra instructions for uBlock Origin no longer apply as the filters listed for them are broken. This still hasn't been fixed after months and months, and the creator has seemingly disappeared from the internet judging by their github profile, so I've given up on this extension and its filter lists. I recommend people use the Fuck Fuckadblock filter list instead, it seems to do everything this extension and its filter lists used to do and more: https://github.com/bogachenko/fuckfuckadblock

    extra steps for ublock origin not working.

    'nano filter', 'nano defender' does not update after subscribing. (0 used out of 0)
    i cannot view any filter list when i click on the links in 'extra steps' except below mentioned case.

    'adblock warning removal list' does not show up even after subscribing. When i copy it custom filters it doesn't get copied.

    It's more than 6 months that is impossible to install Adblock Warning Removal List... A bug fix never came

    Still kind of concerned about the future of this extension, also wondering why the author didn't decide to change the name of the extension to distance the Firefox version from the Chromium version (the Chromium version was bought out and is no longer safe to use).

    Aside from that it is pretty decent, I personally use it alongside uBlock Origin on FF (I never used it back when I was on Chrome years ago). It works very well, just make sure you go through the proper setup if you use it with uBlock Origin.

    Fantastic add-on. It is NOT malicious. Only the chromium version. Anyone saying so below has done zero actual research on the topic:

    The harmful one is on Chromium only and nothing about Firefox

    Firefox port maintainer is not the same with chrome's, this plugin is safe.

    I was able to add the filters for Step 2 and Step 4 in the uBlock Origin settings,
    Extra installation steps for uBlock Origin Step 1 Adblock Warning Removal List. Cannot be added.
