1. DATA WE COLLECT
2. Birth details you enter (name, date/time/place of birth): stored locally on your device via browser storage. Sent to the VaidikVivah.com API solely to compute astrological compatibility scores.
3. Account credentials (email + password): used only for authentication with VaidikVivah.com. Passwords are never stored in the extension.
4. Usage count: the number of compatibility checks you run per month is tracked server-side to enforce the free tier limit.
5. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT
6. We do not read, scrape, or store any content from matrimony websites you visit.
7. We do not collect browsing history, cookies, or any data outside the extension's own UI.
8. We do not share any data with third parties, advertisers, or analytics services.
9. PAYMENT DATA
   Payments are processed by Razorpay on the vaidikvivah.com website. The extension never handles card or UPI details directly. Payment confirmation is communicated back to the extension via a secure token.
10. DATA STORAGE
    Birth details and your authentication token are stored locally using browser storage (chrome.storage.local / browser.storage.local). This data never leaves your device except when transmitted to the VaidikVivah API over HTTPS.
11. DATA DELETION
    You can clear all locally stored data at any time from the extension's Settings screen. To delete your account and server-side data, email support.vaidikvivah@gmail.com.
